David Cameron
President

As President of Conduit Systems, David Cameron is responsible for all facets of business development and planning, including forging strategic marketing efforts, partnerships, technical support, administration and overall operation of the company.

Dave has expanded his original business offerings to include IT consulting, systems requirement analysis, software and hardware support, network design and implementation, technical support and management of network hardware and operating systems software, hubs, switches, routers and user training.

Dave is born of the breed of entrepreneurs that evolved out of experiences in corporate America. While spending 15 years with ITT Grinnell Corporation, Dave held positions of increasing responsibility from computer analyst to division manager of data processing, presiding over information technology activities in multiple locations throughout the United States and Europe.

While at ITT, Dave managed varied processes and environments similar to those that his current clients face. Establishing the direction and strategy for information systems, evaluating current systems and the feasibility of migrating to new systems, evaluating and selecting vendors, and comparing in-house and outsourced services were all activities for which Dave was responsible.

In 1984, Dave established D.W. Cameron, Inc., and set out to fill a void in the business community and to make personal, one-on-one service the hallmark of his business. Specializing in consulting, training and the resale of ComputerVision's Computer-Aided Drafting and Design software, David's clients included General Electric's Aircraft Engine Division, AT&T Bell Labs, Giant Foods, D'Angelos, State University of New York, Columbia University, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Dave's training background was advanced further during the early years of D.W. Cameron, Inc. when he taught various computer and business courses as an Assistant Professor at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

In 1989, Dave brought in Dan Tully as Executive Vice President of D.W. Cameron, Inc. The following year, the company became CambridgeCAD. Then, in 1998, in response to a changing business model and to better respond to the needs of its client base, CambridgeCAD evolved into Conduit Systems.

Dave earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and his Masters of Business Administration in Management from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Dave resides with his wife in the Providence area and enjoys golf and travel. He is a member of the USGA and the Kirkbrae Country Club.
